We are seeking a Branch HR Officer to manage and support branch-level human resource operations, ensuring proper recruitment, accurate staff records, timely payroll processing, and staff welfare in line with company policies and labour requirements.
Role Overview
The Branch HR Officer is responsible for managing human resource and payroll-related activities at branch level. The role ensures staff are properly recruited, documented, paid accurately and on time, and supported in line with company policies and labour regulations. The position also supports staff welfare, performance management, and compliance, while maintaining accurate HR records and reports for management.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Staff Records
- Verify, screen, and recruit new staff in line with approved requirements.
- Ensure all staff have valid right-to-work documentation.
- Issue medical forms to all Focus Business Solutions staff and maintain related records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff files in compliance with internal policies and labour regulations.
Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Prepare and package staff salaries for payment.
- Ensure staff are paid accurately and on time.
- Print envelopes, call sheets, and signing sheets for salary distribution.
- Disburse salaries to staff in line with approved processes.
- Manage pensions and staff benefits administration.
Employee Welfare and Performance Management
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance.
- Organise staff training and capacity-building activities.
- Support staff welfare, health, and safety at branch level.
- Advise line managers and staff on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Support management in handling disciplinary matters, performance issues, and staff queries.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure all HR records are maintained in compliance with company policy and labour laws.
- Prepare HR reports and documentation as required by management.
- Support audits and internal reviews through proper record keeping.
Additional Responsibilities
Carry out any other duties assigned by management in support of branch operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three to five years’ experience in an HR or administrative role.
- Experience handling payroll, staff records, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment practices and workplace procedures.
