Group HR Manager

Role Overview
The Group HR Manager leads and oversees all human resource functions across Focus Business Solutions. The role provides strategic direction and operational leadership for recruitment, payroll coordination, staff welfare, compliance, and performance management across all branches. The position ensures consistent HR standards, strong internal controls, and effective people management systems throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy and Leadership
• Develop and implement group-wide HR policies, procedures, and systems.
• Provide leadership and oversight to branch HR teams.
• Advise senior management on workforce planning, organisational structure, and HR strategy.

Recruitment and Talent Management
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staff deployment across branches.
• Approve job descriptions, advertisements, and hiring decisions.
• Support staff development, training, and performance management initiatives.

Payroll, Benefits, and Compliance
• Oversee payroll coordination to ensure accurate and timely payments.
• Manage pensions, benefits, and staff welfare programmes.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, internal policies, and contractual requirements.
• Oversee HR audits, record management, and compliance reviews.

Employee Relations and Performance
• Lead disciplinary processes and performance management frameworks.
• Advise line managers on employee relations, grievances, and HR procedures.
• Promote a positive, fair, and compliant work environment across the organisation.

Reporting and Management Support
• Prepare HR reports for senior leadership and board-level review.
• Monitor HR performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by senior management.

Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven years’ experience in HR, including senior or managerial responsibility.
• Proven experience managing HR operations across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, payroll systems, and HR best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage organisational change.
